WORKSPACE CONNECTIONS
ProScript patient sync
Bring the patient on your ProScript screen into the same workspace.
Checking your connection…
Pair a workstation
Run the Windows companion on the pharmacy PC that runs ProScript. Pair it once, then capture and sync the patient you have open.
Credentials expire after 30 days. Create a new credential here when you need to pair again.
Paste this into the Windows companion. It is shown once.

Sync the patient on screen
- Start Start.ps1 from the included proscript-companion folder on the pharmacy PC.
- Enter this application's HTTPS address and the pairing credential. Select Save connection and test.
- Select the ProScript window, then map the patient's name, date of birth and NHS number. Capture and check the values.
- Enable Show floating ProScript sync panel. Check the displayed identity and press Sync patient.
The companion needs its initial capture test on your ProScript installation. Keep it running in the same signed-in Windows session.
Patient matching
An exact, unique full-name match can update an existing patient even when its DOB is blank. Recorded DOBs that disagree, ambiguous names and conflicting NHS numbers are blocked. Captured address and phone are retained as source information; they do not overwrite the patient's contact details.
Kiosk requests continue through the separate kiosk connection. ProScript sync does not create patient profiles automatically.
